Ted’s Healthcare career spans over 4 decades. His career started as a Family Worker for a Social Service agency in Chicago, he served as a Mental Health Tech for a start-up Behavioral Health facility and he grew into numerous Service Line Administrator roles in acute hospital settings over the years. Most recently, Ted served as CEO of several national Long Term Acute Care Hospital companies in various regions of the country.
Ted is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served as faculty and consultant to the ACHE and Becker’s Hospital Review.
Driven in part by a family member’s struggle with addiction, Ted and his partners opened Cedar Oaks Wellness Center in April of 2021 after 2 ½ years of research, planning, and community outreach.
“I somehow knew I would end up back in Behavioral Health” Ted states. “Our vision was to create a world-class treatment experience in a tranquil, natural environment to help people start or restart their recovery journey. We still have a lot to learn but it is incredibly rewarding to see clients graduate after 4-6 weeks of treatment and move on to the next phase of their recovery. I’m blessed to be a part of this great team. We’re changing lives and we’re saving lives; there’s no higher calling than that.”
Ted is a current resident of Loveland, Ohio and in his time away from Cedar Oaks enjoys spending time with his family, singing in his church choir, and fishing.
