Recovery from addiction is a daunting task. There are mental, physical, social and cultural challenges to overcome over a lifetime. It is my goal to make those challenges surmountable and to help people reach their highest potential.
I studied psychology and music at DePauw University in Greencastle Indiana, and late in my time there discovered a passion for helping others through guidance, encouragement and evidence-based strategies. After completing this double major Bachelor’s degree, I continued my education with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University.
In my free time I enjoy playing music, cooking, playing and watching various sports, and spending time with my wife and kids.
I have worked for various hospitals and non-profit community organizations over the past decade and have seen a great need for addiction treatment in our area. Cedar Oaks is fulfilling that need at a high level in a secure and peaceful environment where people can discover a healthier lifestyle and become the best possible version of themselves.
